Blend S ( ブレンド・S , Burendo Esu ) is a Japanese iv-panel comic strip manga written and illustrated by Miyuki Nakayama. It made its first appearance in Houbunsha'southward Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine with the October 2013 issue. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by A-ane Pictures aired from October to Dec 2017.
Plot [edit]
High school girl Maika Sakuranomiya has problem finding a part-time job because of how scary she looks when smiling. However, she is scouted 1 mean solar day by an Italian homo who is besides the managing director of Stile ( STEE-lay), a café where its waitresses are given unique traits such as tsundere and younger sister. Maika is given a sadistic trait because of her looks and has to prefer a dominant and barbarous persona when servicing customers, especially masochist ones.

This look catches the attention of Dino, who scouts her to be the "sadistic girl" waitress at Café Stile. Anime [edit]
An anime television series accommodation, directed by Ryōji Masuyama and produced by A-1 Pictures, premiered on October eight, 2017.[2] Gō Zappa supervised the series' scripts and Yōsuke Okuda designed the characters.[9] Get Zappa wrote the screenplay, and Tomoki Kikuya composed the music.[10] Aniplex of America licensed the anime for release in Northward America.[xi] The opening theme "Bon Appétit♡Southward" ( ぼなぺてぃーと♡S , Bonapetīto♡Esu ) and ending theme "Detarame na Minus to Plus ni Okeru Blend Kō" ( デタラメなマイナスとプラスにおけるブレンド考 , Detarame na Mainasu to Purasu ni Okeru Burendo Kō ) are performed by Azumi Waki, Akari Kitō, and Anzu Haruno under the proper name Blend A (pronounced Blend Ace).[12]
In November 2017, the opening theme of the series became a viral meme on Twitter and YouTube, which consists of adding an additional give-and-take to the opening part of the song: "Smile, Sweetness, Sister, Sadistic, Surprise, Service...", followed by that give-and-take, which may refer to pop culture or another popular meme, regardless of whether it starts with the alphabetic character Due south or not.[13]
